Toyota’s Sienna Swagger Wagon

Swagger wagon is a new commercial for the 2011 Toyota Sienna. It’s nothing short hilarious and very relevant to me. I design on  the Toyota account at work and I have baby now. I think it’s time to say good by to my Mustang and get something more practical.

Shell Helix Ultra Transparent Car

Eat your heart out Wonder Woman, The Shell Helix Ultra Transparent car is nothing short of science-fiction come to life. This video shows the behind the scenes look on how the advertising agency JWT designed and produced the transparent Nissan 370Z. The commercial used no CGI for the car itself and instead employed Asylum Models and Effects to actually make all the parts of this Nissan from scratch. I do find it a bit ironic that Shell is anything but transparent.

But there is more to social media then simply having a facebook page. You have to do something with it. It’s nice to see Levi’s leveraging the new Facebook “like” plugin launched last week. They’ve integrated the new “like” feature with every product on the site so at a quick view, you can see the number of facebookers who like the item and also cast your own vote. You can check out the store here

The Solidarites International Water Poster seeks to warn the world about the problem of a lack of drinking water in impoverished countries. The problem kills about 8 million people annually infected by ingestion of dirty water.

Fex-Ad
I ran into this FedEx campaign called Neighbors By DDB in Brazil. It’s a fresh visual solution worth sharing. The original post gives team credits to  Art Director Max Geraldo and Copywriter Aricio Fortes. Does anyone find it odd that there’s is credits for the writer yet there is no copy at all? Regardless, these are great ads. Enjoy the slideshow below. Read more
